Power Automate and business process automation
We design and implement Power Automate solutions for requests, approvals, notifications and integrations between Microsoft 365 and other systems.
Automate a process with its rules and exceptions
Many tasks rely on an email, a spreadsheet and repeated reminders. Problems arise when nobody knows the request’s status, who needs to respond or what happened when an operation failed.
MSAdvance designs automation around that journey: how it starts, which data it needs, who participates and how it ends. We review connectors, licensing, permissions and ownership before building the flow. Tests cover rejections, incomplete data and incidents that may occur during operation.
- Processes defined with owners and trackable states.
- Integrations and licensing reviewed before development.
- Documentation and maintenance planned during design.
Tasks worth automating
Approvals buried in email
Requests move between email threads, making it hard to check their status, find an approval or remember who should act.
Flows dependent on one person
An automation uses its creator’s connections, and the team is unsure what will happen if that person changes role or leaves.
Failures without follow-up
A flow fails without a useful alert to the owner, or an operation stops halfway and must be reconstructed manually.
Power Automate analysis, development and maintenance
Process analysis
We document the request journey, input data, participants and exceptions. We define which operations will be automated and which decisions still require human input.
Approvals and requests
We build approval steps, notifications and outcome records. The design covers rejections, absences, deadlines and status queries according to rules agreed with the process owner.
Microsoft 365 and integrations
We connect the included services and review their authentication and permission requirements. External application integrations are assessed against available connectors, interfaces and usage conditions.
Error handling and traceability
We prepare error handling and alerts for the responsible team. Where required, we test retries, incomplete operations and recovery so incidents can be located and resolved.
Power Platform governance
We define owners, environments, connections and usage guidance suited to the scope. We review connector policies and the change process with Power Platform administrators.
Handover and maintenance
We deliver the agreed flows, test results and documentation and train the owners. Ongoing support and enhancements can be arranged as a continuing service.
What we resolve before building the flow
Connectors, permissions and licensing
An integration may need a particular connector, an additional license or access to an application managed by another team. We review these dependencies during analysis so the design and proposal reflect how the solution will operate.
We also check which account or connection runs each operation and who will maintain it. Ownership, permissions and authentication decisions are documented alongside the configuration.
Incidents and changes of owner
The process needs to remain manageable when people or applications change. We define who receives alerts, who can modify the flow and what to do when a connection needs attention.
Testing covers normal operations, rejections and relevant failures. At handover, your team receives instructions for checking the solution’s status and managing expected changes.
From a process to maintainable automation
Process
Define the rules, participants, inputs and exceptions the solution must handle.
Feasibility
Review connectors, permissions, licensing and dependencies.
Build
Develop the flow and agreed incident handling.
Validation
Complete technical tests and acceptance with the process owner.
Handover
Provide documentation, training and maintenance arrangements.
Project documentation and handover
- Process description with rules and exceptions.
- Solution design with required connectors, permissions and licensing.
- Flows and configurations included in the proposal.
- Functional, incident and process acceptance test results.
- Documentation for owners, connections and maintenance.
- Training and the agreed support or ongoing service procedure.
Scope, requirements and ongoing support
Which processes can we automate?
We review requests, approvals, notifications, data recording and exchanges between applications. Feasibility depends on the process rules, data quality and available connectors or interfaces.
Can you review existing flows?
Yes. We analyze ownership, connections, permissions and error handling. We can document flows, resolve incidents or prepare their maintenance according to the agreed review scope.
Will we need additional licenses?
That depends on the connectors and how the solution is used. We review licensing during analysis and identify requirements before finalizing the development proposal.
What happens if the person who built the flow leaves?
Ownership and connections are reviewed during design. We establish responsible owners and administration procedures so maintenance does not rely on one person’s knowledge.
How will we know if a flow fails?
The design includes the alerts, records and recovery operations the process needs. Tests validate those scenarios and documentation explains who should handle each incident.
Do you provide maintenance after handover?
Support and enhancements can be arranged. The scope defines service hours, incident handling and included changes. If your team takes over administration, we provide the agreed handover and training.

Explain how it starts, who participates, which applications it uses and where delays occur. We will assess feasibility and prepare a proposal covering the required integrations, tests and maintenance.
